Mocktails also are a great alternative. I mixed several juice mixes with a dash of sprite for something bubbly and pretty.

I also opted to do a Costco run to save me some time and they have a selection of food that you can always make in a jiffy. I picked up salads and sandwich rolls.
Sweets: The sweet offerings are where you can really let your creativity shine. CYou might also include an assortment of pastries such as éclairs, tarts, and petit fours. Since it was a birthday there were 3 cakes so that took care of that but I did indulge in some churro bites from Costco as well
